Needing assistance with Square Card on Dashboard

I cannot figure out why Square has to be so convoluted in the way we must navigate on the site. I will never again use the app due to issues that emerged afterwards. I am speaking about going to the site from my mobile devices. The balance on one's card should always immediately appear on the dashboard, as well as recent card activity! And I just can't find out how to change my card's PIN. So unnecessarily complicated.

Hi @cherimoya.  I’m going to assume here that you indeed have a question about chanting your card’s PIN.  So, to answer that:

 

  1. Go to your online dashboard
  2. Go to Balance
  3. Click on your Location to open an overview
  4. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner..
  5. Select “Checking settings”
  6. There is an option in the list to Reset PIN.  Use that and follow the instructions there.

As for the rest of your post, I can agree that it is not always easy to find things in the online dashboard sometimes.    They’ve changed it a lot in the past year or two, and I hear there are more changes coming.  However, overall I don’t find it either complicated or convoluted.  The dashboard gives us access to everything about our business.  That’s going to make it somewhat hard to navigate, and they won’t be able to make a dashboard that satisfies everyone all the time.

 

Anyway, I hope that helps you change your PIN, which I assume was the reason for your post to begin with.

Thank you for the assistance. I do appreciate it. The only thing I will say about your other remark is that the other company I use that processes payments has everything bam! Right as soon as you log in, you see your balance and activity. Card management is also very visible to view and alter if need be. When they introduced their app, I think for a minute they tried to pull the same crap and must have had a lot of complaints. So glad everything went back to normal.
