Is this possible? Disappeared a transaction after got Authorization number.

I am using square through internet.

It happened on 2/15/2025  1:15PM Central time.

I printed out the receipt with Receipt number and Authorization number.

So I made a sales transaction.   But the fund was not transferred, so I checked all transactions.  The transaction was not showed up in the list.

I called customer service, they said that I could not do anything because it is not transaction list.

Is this possible after printed out the receipt, the receipt receipt was deleted?

@tnadavid I only know of one situation where this is possible.  And that would be if Square card processing was in offline mode for your POS and subsequently the card was declined once an internet connection was restored.  I’m not sure this applies though, because your statement “I am using Square through internet” makes no sense.  All Square processing is through the internet.  Where did you process the transaction — on a POS, or a virtual terminal, or where?  That will help me be able to assist you further.

Hi there, @tnadavid,

This does sound off, but it's difficult to pinpoint what may be happening without looking at your account and transactions with you, which we aren't able to do via the Community. For this type of issue, I suggest that you get in touch with our Support Team.

I appreciate you stepping in here as well to help, @TheRealChipA!
