Information request

I have been notified by Square for further information as an "information request" but it is asking for 3 months of my most recent historical merchant processing statements.

 

Why is this needed and what for?

 

I don't know who to talk to in order to validate the request.

It sounds like Square’s Account Services team may have reached out to learn more about you and your business. As Square is a card processing company, occasionally we need to learn about businesses and the types of goods and services they are providing. We do this to make sure we are maintaining a safe and secure card processing environment for both our sellers and your customers. If you have any questions about the form, the best thing to do is to give us a call on 0800 - 098 8008, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm as the team will be able to access all account-specific information, including any pending verification request form.
