I have been very disappointed with Square’s decision to suspend my account for no apparent reason. I have only two large transactions on my account from two people with the same last name. Square decides to suspend my account and withhold my funds indefinitely. They sent a request for me to answer their interrogation to prove this is a real transaction… Inconvenient, but not the end of the world. What really gets me is the fact that they decide that my answers weren’t good enough, and decided I need to re-answer the same questions… How is my client information not elaborate enough when it’s everything I have on them? On top of that, their Customer Service is just a bunch of cheap outsourced reps who read scripts all day long and don’t provide any meaningful help. Account services is literally buried within their company and there is no way to reach them. It just seems like this is a scam deep below the surface where you guys hold funds to make your company look more profitable to shareholders. It makes sense after all the shady stuff you pulled over the years and the lawsuits you guys settled. Such a shame that even after stonewalling business owners, you guys have been on a downtrend losing over 40% in the markets since 2018. You guys will go out of business on day and there will be a new merchant processor that takes your shine. If you guys don’t resolve this, there is going to be a massive class action lawsuit that I will personally oversee for all the people you put in difficult financial situations for the neglect and disregard that you bring forth as a CREDIT CARD PROCESSOR. Fraud and chargebacks are supposed to be the reason you guys exist, but it seems like taking money from everyone else is just easier. What a shame
@Alldayrental Couple quick questions, I generally ask these because it really does drive the reasoning behind it all. And yes it sucks and it is frustrating.
1. Was the transaction in person with a chip card present for dip or tap?
2. How long have you had your square account?
I’ve had the account for 3 months. The transaction was completed via text link.
