How long before Square releases my balance after I confirm my ID?

Square recently asked me to verify my ID through its Veriff system which was a nightmare and unsuccessful because my Florida drivers llicense is holographic by design and Veriff's AI system could not read it. I called Square and explained my situation to a human rep who asked me a series of questions confirming my identify. The rep then huddled with another department/office at Square - presumably accounting - while I waited on hold. After a few minutes, he told me that my funds were being released and they would become available to me through my Square admin after three hours. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I'm now wondering if he said three DAYS and I misunderstood him.
 The thing is, 1. I would like to transfer my Square balance to my business bank account, and, 2. My business is dead in the water until such time as Square restores full functionality to my account. I cannot afford to accept payments that I have no access to. I'm running a business, for goodness sake!

What should - and can - I do in this situation?
