Holding on to transfer

I'm having trouble getting past the what was supposed to take up to one business day to deposit my money but it's been 4 weeks and I still can't deposit my money what do I do I honestly am looking for a different system to go through because I don't trust square anymore

Hey @Earthandstone.  First, I’m sorry to hear you are having issues here.  This is not a system-wide thing, nor is it something that is normal. Most of us get our transfers within 24-48 hours without issue.  If there were regular problems like, this community would be lighting up like a Christmas Tree with complaints!  Your post is very light on details, so it is hard to know where to begin without giving you insulting lists of things you may (or may not) have tried.  So, if you could, please help us help you.

 

  • What have you tried so far?  
  • Do you have automatic transfer to your bricks-and-mortar bank account set up?  
  • Is your bank account verified by Square?
  • Are there funds in your Square Balance that are just not moving anywhere?  
  • Have you tried a manual transfer?
  • Have you been notified by Square of any reserves that have been placed on your account?
  • Is this just one transaction, or many?  
  • Have you had any unusual transactions, disputes or anything like these that is out of the ordinary?
  • Have you called Square Support?
  • Have any deposits/transfers worked in the past and they just stopped?  Or have you received nothing from Square since you started processing.

We are a community of fellow sellers.  In order to even know where to start, we need more information like this.  Otherwise we are just shooting in the dark, too, which won’t help you at all.
