Have been waiting for a payout for square now 16 days. Is this normal?

Looks like after many years SQUARE is holding our money and not releasing for very long periods of time. I have been waiting for 16 days to receive the money from a charity event I hosted.
what action consumers can take? Looks like they have option to give you your own money immediately for an extra fee.

Hi @Aurute - Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Square Seller Community👋😊

I moved your message to a private thread to further discuss your question. Keep in mind, the Seller Community is public-facing so when you ask questions that are specific to your account, we will move them to a board to discuss with you privately for your security.

It appears there is no linked bank account for your Square balance to be deposited in.

To link your bank account follow these steps:

  1. Go to Account & Settings > Business information > Bank Accounts > Add Bank Account in your online Square Dashboard. If you are changing your bank account, select Change Bank Account

  2. Enter the requested bank account information. You can find this information listed at the bottom of your checks, or you can contact your bank to confirm this information.Routing # and account # on a check

  3. Click Verify.

Once you have verified multiple external bank accounts to your Square account, you can change the linked bank account for each of your locations. To do so:

  1. From Account & Settings in your online Square Dashboard, click Bank Accounts.

  2. Under All locations, click the linked bank account next to the location in question.

  3. From the drop-down menu, select the verified bank account you want to add to that location. If you do not see the bank account you want to link, select Add external bank account and complete the bank verification process.

  4. Click Update linked account > Done

Once you link your bank account, there will be an option to instantly transfer your funds for a 1% fee. Otherwise, your funds will deposit next business day.

I hope this helps!
