My account shows that my deposit won't be tranferred until 2 days after the transaction. The transaction was on Monday and Square says it won't deposit until Wednesday night. This is a day longer than it usually takes for a weekday deposit. I have not been notified of a change to the deposit schedule. Why is this happening?

We can't speak for why you may be seeing a delay as the Community is not the same as Customer Support - you may want to contact them. One of the first places I look when I think that something has happened is here. Square set this site up so their customers can check out System Status - it's really helpful. There was a Point of Sale disruption reported yesterday which may or may not be the reason your transfer is delayed. Think of the Square system as a giant database - sometimes issues in one area have an unexpected issue in another area - that's the nature of databases. It's just my thought of course - that's why contacting Customer Support may provide some additional details.
