Electric shock with Square Terminal

Hello,

We have our square register located in our school tuckshop and staff are suddenly getting electric shocks when touching the screen.  The manager today even got a red mark on her arm from the shock.  We purchased in approx Aug 2021.  What are our options here?  Does it need to be shut down after each completely?  We don't shut down ipads connected to square readers and they do not give the electric shocks.

Hoping someone able to provide advice as to this and or options for refund/replacement/warranty.
