I have had a problem with the Badge reader going to sleep since we started using it to TRY and

Hi @Altitude1291,

It sounds like your message is regarding the staff badge screen going to sleep after a certain period of time. To confirm, this is the expected behavior. Our Engineers have advised that the reader will automatically turn off after 4 minutes of inactivity to prevent unnecessary strain on the hardware. This behaviour overrides any “never sleep” setting you may have applied on your iPad.

This timeout is designed to help preserve the device’s lifespan and ensure it operates safely. At this time, there are no plans to change this setting.
