Hello, I am a restaurant in Texas that serves TEX - Mex Cuisine and we will move toward doing wellness infused meals and edibles later once we start getting going. Square has decided to hold all our money hostage and keep asking for stuff we have already provided. They have held our money since January 19th and still no response or money. Do not use this product the customer service sucks, you call another country or place where you cannot talk to anyone. I will be very surprised if anyone reaches out to me or releases our money.

While we can't get into specific account details in the public forum, I can tell you that CBD-enabled accounts do have to go through some very serious investigations before being allowed to operate normally. This is at a federal level versus something that's Square specific, so any merchant processor you go through will have you jumping through the same hoops. Once the government relaxes its stance on CBD (soon I hope) it will be easier, but for now the best thing is to just keep jumping through those hoops.
Yeah, it's not ideal for sure. Every time you submit those forms, make sure it's all correct. That's the best advice I can give you. 😞
Ryan, I appreciate your optimism but, this goes way beyond that. And being in Texas we understand and have jumped through all the hoops, hurdles, walls, and anything else you can imagine. But this is non-sense. we are dealing with everything professionally and legally. SQUARE holding over $5000 without any type of REAL Human interaction or guidance is unlawful.
I just want to warn everyone before they make the same mistake we did.
