CODS Customer Order Display System

This is more of a feature request for the self-service system, but since there isn’t a dedicated button for that, I’m posting it here as it seems the closest fit.

I think it would be a great addition to have an app developed similar to the KDS that works alongside the self-service app. The idea is:

• Customers receive an order number on their receipt after placing an order.
• This order number would then be displayed on a customer-facing screen, showing the order status whether it’s in progress or ready for collection.

I think this would improve the flow of self-service orders and enhance the overall customer experience.

Thanks for the suggestion. I can certainly see how a separate order display screen would compliment the self-serve process. 

I've had a look, and can see this topic was discussed as recently as last week, however it is not currently on the road-map for production. If anything changes on that, either myself or one of our moderators will circle back here with an update.
