CBD Account Deactivated under false accusations

We just activated our site to hammer out the bugs and Square deactivated without any prior communication or questioning. We are 100% 2018 Farm Bill Compliant and have never sold anything illegal.  My web developer and I have tried since receiving the deactivation email to root the source causing this "hypothetical issue".  We haven't even sold anything yet and only tested payment with our own card for quality control.  We are sitting on large volume and cannot afford this misunderstanding to sink us.  We have retained an attorney and will certainly try to appease Square if we missed something that is perceived as a violation but cannot even strike a conversation with a human.  We have a screenshot of a service communication where they stated:

Summer2024

from

Hi There. It looks like the THCA would need to be removed from your site completley to be eligible for appeal."

We are 100% compliant with COA's according to the 2018 Farm Bill, no issues there. She immediately responded after above message.

"Please disregard my above message, let me submit and see what the team has to say...."

Nothing has been said!!!

If it takes this long to review a very modest website than they have issues. We are losing the farm with these shenanigans and need to get some feedback on what to fix for heavens sake and don't tell me some get to operate and others don't. This is illegal discrimination and will be pursued to the fullest degree if needed. Anyone that can help we would be most appreciative.

Need some attention here....

Hi @Tmoney44

Really sorry to hear about this — it sounds incredibly frustrating. If your CBD site is fully 2018 Farm Bill compliant and you’ve had no sales yet, Square should at least provide clear reasoning. I recommend continuing to push for a response through Square Support and also via Twitter/X @SquareSupport — public channels sometimes get faster results. You might also consider alternative processors that are more transparent with CBD merchants (like Elevon or Pinwheel).

Wishing you a quick resolution — no business should be left in the dark like this.
