We recently just started a new sale (i.e., 4 bags for $12), since starting the sale, we've noticed an error that I don't believe should happen. For context, we print out in-store order tickets so that our customers can go and get loaded with the bags outside of the building.

 

So, the error that we've noticed is when a customer purchases odd numbers of the said bags on sale, the system separates them on the screen; into the ones being discounted, and the ones at regular prices, that's fine — but when the in-store order ticket is printed, it is also separated on there too, so it shows:

3 x Black Loam Bags

12 x Black Loam Bags

 

This makes it a bit confusing for everyone and could cause errors during loading since normally something like that would be combined and they wouldn't have to double check to see if there is extra on the ticket, as there are usually lots of other bags/items on the ticket as well. 

 

We have the setting that in-store order tickets should combine identical items, so I would think that would apply even to something when it's on sale since they are exactly the same item.
