Bad square

My problem is I have a square business account spiritual advisor and in 2001 I had a customer pay me for my services which was $200 for Sunday hours of advising square said that they wrote me several emails which I never received so they with hell my $200 and I'm talking since 2001 and finally in 2002 they sent me an email saying that square has given me back my $200 and yet it's still today I cannot talk to no one and square I cannot get my money back or anything I had to open up a new account which they're giving me the running around about my old account I am so disappointed what am I to do

Hello @Williamsjrnated thanks for your post. Is this correct that what you are saying is...Square has withheld $200 of payment from you for 21 years? Twenty One years? I don't know much about the legal issue regarding small claims, but from what I can find out with a quick search, is the longest time period to claim such a filing in court (if you needed to escalate this issue) was/is 10 (ten) years, depending on which State you live it.

I think you need to contact a customer service rep regarding this, but my best advice to you going forward in your business...if anyone owes you money, you can't let it go beyond your state's statue of limitations for filing small claims. Twenty one years....? Dude you can't let things linger that long, take care of your business what ever you have to do. Best of luck to you.
