I received an email stating my account will be deactivated in 20 days for violating section 3 general terms and section 3 payment terms. I've reviewed these terms over and over and I don't see where I've violated any terms. I've had my square account for over 2 years and I had not changed how I've used the account. Has this ever happened to anyone? If so, is it possible to get this reversed?
@Superiorhs Generally when I have seen these, it is selling something you aren't allowed to do, giving cash back on a return instead of refunding to the card, and I have seen where someone does telehealth that links to a pharmacy or prescription. Without knowing your website or business, it is hard to determine where this area is.
As far as going 2 years, the only analogy I can give is speeding. Sometimes you speed everyday, but the cop only catches you once, then your insurance goes up.
Thank you for your response. I have a weight loss clinic so I wonder if it has something to do with the medications I’m writing prescriptions for. I’m not sure of anything else it could be. I haven’t added any additional services to my practice since opening my square account.
@Superiorhs If that is the case, I would look at make sure you are not doing any type of "Telehealth". That is the most common one I have seen. If you are taking appointments and they have to be seen "in-person" then I think everything is cool. But if you write a Rx from an online only visit that could be the problem, they may not have seen it till now.
