Tokens different between transaction report and catalog

I'm trying to use the item "Token" for matching purposes in excel between the item library export and the transaction report and am finding there to be different tokens in each report for the same item. I've confirmed there are not duplicate item names.

I'm wondering if anyone has found the same thing? I assumed the "Token" column was a unique ID for the item variation which would be consistent across Square, so am trying to understand why this isn't the case.

Seems silly, but does one maybe have a space after it??
