According to the instructions here: https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/8057-create-managing-bundles-with-square-for-retail, i should be able to have the option to add bundle options to an item, but no where does it show that i have that option. I'm following the instructions, but I cannot for the life of my figure out whats going on.
I want to sell Good Omens inspired candles, and one is going to be called "Aziraphale" and the other "Crowley". I want one listing that has the options of "Aziraphale" "Crowley" "Aziraphale & Crowley." And the bundle takes inventory from the individuals' inventory.
Hi @JackieVan. I suspect, but can’t be sure, that there is an internal error on your account that the Square engineers will have to research and fix. To make that as quick and painless as possible, you’ll need to call Square Support on the phone. Unfortunately, since this is a long holiday weekend, nothing can probably be done before Tuesday.
I can give you a couple of steps that might fix this, which I’d recommend trying while you are waiting to call them. First, completely sign off of Square in your browser. Second, clear your brower’s history and cache. Then force close your browser and restart it, and sign back into your Square account. Try again. Hopefully that fixes whatever is wrong. If it doesn’t and sell as a bundle still doesn’t appear when you create an item (see screen shot), then you’ll have to wait until you can talk to Support on Tuesday during regular business hours.

I did all of that and it's still showing it's unavailable. I attached proof of the error and what my current plan is.
@JackieVan I believed you when you said you were subscribed. Since you did all of what I recommended, then it definitely sounds like something is messed up with the internals of your account. So unfortunately only the Square engineering team (or maybe support) can help you on Tuesday.

Hi, I am also interested in using the bundle feature and do not see it as an option on my account. I do not subscribe to Square for Retail but I DO subscribe to Square Online Plus. @JackieVan were you able to get this resolved last month? Thank you!
Go to your Square Dashboard on a computer, not the app on a phone or tablet. Then Items - Create Item- then under taxes you should have a button to sell as an Item or sell as a bundle. See @TheRealChipA's image in a previous reply in this thread. What you want to do is create the Item as a Bundle. Meaning the new item for example would be Halloween Gift Basket with a unique SKU of GBHallow then you would select to sell as a Bundle and then enter the items you including in the Bundle. This is all from your computer. To select items that are in the Bundle you can scan a barcode to find the items easier.
Thanks, @Candlestore - I don't have that option on my dashboard under the taxes section. Sounds like JackieVan was not able to see that as well so I'm wondering if their case was resolved because it seems like I have the same problem. See my screenshot.
Thank you for the Screen shot, since I can now see that you do not have the Add Bundle button. I see you are part of the Beta testers and I tested this feature. So mine has been enabled before it was released. Now I am wondering if it was fully released as the Dashboard should update automatically. I would call Customer Support and see if there is a reason why it is not enabled for you. I did see this should be enabled for accounts with square for retail Plus and also for the Online Plus subscriptions. Now you do not have both but it does not say you need both as I only have the Retail Plus subscription and not Square online Plus. I would call the number in my signature line and maybe it was an oversight at square that yours was not enabled or could conflict with something else you are testing. I have had a Beta Test and lost the use of this or that, currently there are some things in my catalog I can only do with my dashboard because of a Beta Test I am doing.
Updating the thread here: I received an email back from Square support 12 days ago saying that the bundle feature is NOT actually available yet to people who have Square Online Plus if you do not also pay for Retail Plus. Bummer, and false advertising. They said they would be updating the article online to reflect this, but so far it does not look like it has been changed.
