Handheld terminal Integrated with Jane App stuck on Installing System update,

Hi there,

 

My handheld terminal is integrated with 'Jane App' and my troubleshooting has included restarting, powering off, all while being plugged in, and it has not changed in hours.  I hesitate to do a hard reset as it says 'all device settings will be lost' when I am integrated.  Do you have any other suggestions I could try?

Hi Mpc20,

 

Can you explain your issue a bit more .... According to the info I found here, the Jane App has it's own Terminal.  This app looks like a closed system - everything you need to take care of your clients including accepting payments, scheduling, tracking history, billing, accounting, etc.   I'm not seeing any connection to Square.  Have you contacted Jane Support ?

Thank you JK, Jane used to use Square as it's terminal and those using Square prior to Jane's current terminal were grandfathered.  The hard reset would disconnect me...I just wasn't ready to be disconnected.

I am having the same issue with no resolution. Am I dead in the water with square? No one seems to have an answer. Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps like resetting the Terminal? If not, this Support Article will have the steps to get that completed.
