I sent myself a eGift Card to see how it works. The email I received shows ways to redeem it - by phone, by email and by showing to cashier none of which I require. No mention of or link to my Online Store which is the only redemption method I require. Is there a way to set it up like this.
Hi @tonydow, thanks for your post! When customer purchased an eGift Card, it'll include a note to say customer can provide their Gift Card code during checkout.
If you'd like to add a note to specify how they can redeem it online, you can add this information in Additional Policy. You can set this up from your Dashboard > Gift Cards > Settings. This information will be included in the email customer received.
Thanks @tranguyen however it would be so much better and easier for customers if it said “Provide your Gift Card’s code during checkout at https://the-ungrateful-wench.square.site”
That's a great flag @tonydow and I will be sure to put it to the Product team. For the moment, you should be able to add this wording in the Additional Policy box for further clarity. Hopefully that will help in the meantime!
