Appointment App taking ages to open

Hi every time I open my Appointment app on my phone it takes about 30 seconds to fully load before I can check anything. When I go out of the app to quickly copy someone’s phone number and reopen the app it again takes ages to open and will sometimes have closed the customer page I was entering the info on. Any clues? It’s a bit annoying with the wait especially when someone’s on the phone or standing in front waiting for an appointment time.

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you're having trouble with the appointments app!

 

I'm not sure what the exact cause of this issue is, but you could try the following to see if anything helps:

 

- Check to see if there are any updates available for the app

- Likewise, check to see if there are any available updates for your device operating system (iOS or Android)

- Delete and reinstall the app

 

If none of these things work it could possibly be a device-related issue, perhaps related to memory and/or storage. One way to test this is if you have access to another phone or tablet, you could install the app there and compare how long it takes to open on one device vs another.
