So there is something buggy here. I just performed a reset yesterday and upgraded the POS Retail experience and had this issue multiple times tonight. I cannot exit the red card declined screen when it pops up. I had it four times tonight with some people checking cards so I had a chance to study it and find a circus act to get out of it.
Card is declined and you are greeted with the red splash screen that is not dismissible.
- Quickly hit the power button to put the POS screen asleep.
- As soon as the screen is black hit the power button again to wake it up.
- Then the red card declined screen is gone BUT you still have the sale amount sitting in the checkout screen but no items shown and you cannot clear sale with the 3 dots drop down.
- Select any item to go into the checkout then you can hit clear sale from the 3 dots drop down menu to get everything ready again for a new sale.
