I need to link to pdf from item description

I want to link to a PDF from item discription so customers can download it. How do I do this?

If you disable ‘Sync Item Description’ in dashboard Item settings it will allow you to add an external link to the description. Hope this helps

I have created the upload https://sandbox.square.online/uploads/b/3cbf5c30-b273-11ea-802a-15c32b636b45/CCMtec%20Triple%20Whamm... but for some reason i can access the file by search bar on chrome but when I input the link to the item description it wont recognise it as a link?

I’m afraid I don’t understand why it is not accepting your link. Hopefully someone from Square can shed more light on it.

I may be wrong but it looks as though you may have spaces or some character that it doesn’t like in the url

Sorted. It was the spaces in the file name. Thank you for your help
