how to I find out a yearly total tips made

How do I get a total of how much tips each employee made in a year? With new tax laws in CT, they aren't taxing tips, I need to get a total for tips in 2025. If square payroll offers this feature, & I add that feature now, will it show me those totals for the past?

You can view all your team members' tips for 2025 in your Team Sales Report. This report will display all your employees in a list, along with the total tips collected for the specified time period. 

To view/download this report, just follow the steps below: 

1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and go to Reports > Sales > Team Sales
2. Use the date range filter to set your required duration (in this case, the full 2025 year)
3. To download this report, click the download icon in the top right corner of the screen

I personally would not use a Team Sales report. I'd run a payroll report by employee for 2025, which breaks down the exact amount of tips and cash tips paid to each employee.

We have employees that get tip share and so what shows up on the Team Sales report isn't exactly what was paid out to those employees.

@BravoLMT You can also try to do a custom report for just Tips. I tested it and it works
