Team Members who use Square for multiple businesses

In the past, I was able to invite a Team Member to Square, and even if they worked for multiple businesses, they could accept the invitation.  They could then use that email address to log into Square, then select which business they were working for that day.

Has that changed?  I tried inviting someone today, and Square rejected their email, saying it was already associated with another account.  Square Chat help wasn't helpful, they couldn't explain why it was working for some current users/businesses and not others.

Hi @TenByTenNYC.  This is still possible with Square.  Nothing has changed.  What most likely happened is the new team member clicked on the link to CREATE a Square account, when they should have just signed into the existing account using whatever credentials they used before.
