How can I take "team" off my point of sale so my employees cannot see team members personal information and pay?
Everyone has different "permissions" but my managers have team access to edit employees so when they are logged into the iPad's others can access this information.
HI @RoccosPizza.. Unfortunately, you currently can not remove POS add-ons like Team from the POS without unsubscribing from it. So, you’re just going to have to strongly remind your managers that when they are done at a POS, they need to log out of it. Honestly, they should get into this habit, anyway, since they probably have various override capabilities you don’t want your regular employees having.
Having said this, that does sounds like a pretty decent feature request — to allow us to completely disable various functionality on our POS entirely. I’m not sure how many sellers would use it, since it was a rather big feature request to put it there in the first place. But Square might consider giving us a toggle in our POS settings to turn on and off various add-ons without having to unsubscribe from them completely. It’s worth a try. You can submit a feature request to the Square POS team here. If you do submit one, post its URL here and I’ll certainly upvote/like it. Since I am the only manager in my store, I probably don’t feel strongly about this as I always sign out when I’m done at a POS. But I can see the value of having it and would support another seller’s request.
