I’m new to using Square and really like how easy the app is to use. I recently onboarded a few family members to help with sales at a couple of flea markets we attend on weekends.
Our business is still small and just getting started, so we’re not quite ready to move to the ~$50/month plus plan yet. My question is: once our trial ends, will the staff members I’ve already added still be able to use their current (standard) access to accept payments under the free plan?
Also, is there anything else I should be aware of once the trial period is over?

This is a great question and I am glad I can answer it for you. Once the Free Trial for Plus expires, all features included with it will stop working. Staff members will not lose their account but if any of them has a Custom Permission set apart from the Team Permission set they will lose access due to custom permission being a Plus feature.

Thank you for your reply, if I’m not mistaken all users have standard rights. If I understand correctly, their current access will work with the same standard access they have and any custom permission will be revoked when the trial is gone?
