Payroll still processing after 68 hours

I sent in my payroll numbers and confirmed the amount to be deducted from my account Friday before I left work. This morning, Monday, after 68 hours my payroll is still processing. The phones are down.

 How much more of my day is to be spent on finding out if my employees will get paid at the end of this week?

I've had a look into this for you, and I can confirm that this payroll run is scheduled. Your employees will receive their direct deposits by 5pm on Friday, October 24, 2025, which aligns with the standard processing schedule that your account is currently set up for.

Employee pay day is five business days after the end of the pay period. Employees who are paid by direct deposit will receive their pay on this date, provided payroll is processed on time.


For a complete view of your payroll history and upcoming pay dates, you can visit Staff > Payroll > Run payroll > Pay history in your Square Dashboard.

While I understand this processing time may feel long, especially when you're concerned about your team getting paid, your payroll is processing normally and is on track for the expected deposit date.

If you'd like faster processing times for future payroll runs, you might consider applying for two-day payroll. This would allow you to either:

- Submit payroll up to two business days before your team's pay date, or
- Get your team paid up to two days earlier than the standard schedule
