Payroll for International Contractors

Hey Square Fam,

I hired two independent contractors from the Philippines. One will be running sales but they are having issues completing team accounts to have access to the square account so they can process sales and run my marketing. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions outside of giving them my login so I can give them access to do what they need.

At this time in order to take advantage of the features in your Square Account, your team member would need to be based in the United States and be able to complete our identity verification process. Also at this time, international payroll isn't possible.

Thank you for replying. I’ll have to figure out how to give them access to charge clients without giving them my login.

If they are based in the Philippines they will not be able to process payments from your account @RMConsultingLLC. All Square accounts can only process payments from the Country in which they are activated.

Hi! I have a similar question. I hired a marketing manager overseas, will international payroll at least to pay a contractor be available? I am trying to figure out how to pay this individual.
