I logged into Next/AP Intego today to change my billing info and was shocked to see that I'm still being billed Workers' Comp/Disability for employees that I've deactivated in Square payroll. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. Why do employees not get deactivated from insurance when they're no longer working?
Hi @kumonofbeacon As long as those employee aren’t receiving paychecks, there is no charge for them by Next. I have one inactive employee this year and while they still show as someone who was covered in the past, there has been no billing for them since I have pay-as-you-go and they did not receive a paycheck since I deactivated them. Anyway, if for some reason this is not the case with you, it sounds like a Next error since they show inactive in your Square dashboard. For these errors, Next would have to investigate and fix this issue for you, since they do the actual billing.
