I currently subscribe to Teams Plus at one location that needs custom permission sets to limit access for some employees.
Now I am adding a second "location" in order to process transactions that are unrelated to the first location. This location does not need to limit access for any employees.
Can I only subscribe to Teams Plus for the one location that needs custom permissions, or am I forced to pay for Teams Plus for both locations even though I am only using the features at one?
Hi @sclhtim. Here is a quote from the Square Teams Pricing help document (bold italics mine).
”Square will charge you $35 on the first of each month for every active location with an assigned team member.”
This indicates to me that the charge occurs for every location that has a team member assigned to it
However, this is just vague enough that I am going to tag a few community moderators so one of them can confirm or deny my assumptions.

Hello @sclhtim , thank you for getting in touch. That's a great question! As @TheRealChipA mentioned, you'll be charged for every location that a team member is assigned to. If your team members are using custom permissions, which is a plus feature, you'll be charged $35 per location. I am sorry for the inconvenience, if you need anything else let us know! 😊
So even if all team members at Location #2 only use the default Team Permissions and no custom permissions, I will still have to pay $35 for Location #2?
Just taking over for Maya @sclhtim
That's correct. The bill will be $35 on the first of each month for every active location with an assigned team member, regardless of the assigned permissions.
I hope this helps.
