Why is it that there is no option to record someone as using sick time on a particular shift? As it is now, we have to record sick time when computing payroll for that period. It'd be easier and simpler if sick time could be recorded the day the employee is sick OR the employee requests sick time for his/her shift on the day they are supposed to clock in. Then when management approves it those sick hours are automatically recorded on that person's time sheet for that pay period. It is sooooo old to have to remember who took sick time during a pay period. This is 2024. We can't be the only ones complaining about this, especially when all business in CA have to offer 40 hrs of sick time to employees. Can someone please make this fix!
