Hello,
I am considering adding Team Communications to my cafe. I understand that it costs $2.50/person per month. how has your experience been with this add-on? I currently am scheduling with 7Shifts and plan on using Square's scheduling program. I do my payroll on Square and it has worked out well. With payroll you are billed based upon the number of people you pay per month. I am a seasonal business with as few as 35 employees to as much as 100 employees in the summer. How have you controlled the number of active employees or would I get billed for all 100 employees during the slow months? Thank you in advance for any shared information.

We personally LOVE the team app. I don’t know how we survived before it. It feels like we are communicated well but also feeling connected even if we don’t all see each other everyday!
also a great way for people who are really strict on work boundaries to have a separate place to communicate that isn’t via text.
Deactivating employees is very easy and during your non-busy season, you can deactivate those that you aren't using and therefore I believe you won't pay for those deactivated employees.
Then when the busy season rolls around you can go in and reactivate those employees that you're bringing back on with just a click of the button.
I can't speak too much about the Teams Communications app; I am a team of one (even though it feels like 7) so communication within my team looks a little different 😄
