Employee group chat

so we added a new employee about a month ago, but she wasn’t automatically added to our main group chat like the rest of the team was.
is this a glitch or just something we did wrong?
we are able to add her to a new group chat but I would like to use our main one.
how do I add her?

Hey @Hnyskleroastery.  You can add anyone to an existing group chat at any time.  Just open the group chat, click the “…” at the top, and select view details.  Then click the “Add” button in the list of team members already in the chat.

This will not happen automatically, however,  Automatic additions of team members to chats could result in embarrassing moments that would not happen by only allowing new team members to be added manually.  I remember this as a discussion point during beta testing of this feature, and it was determined that it as better to be safe than sorry, especially as far as team communication and confidentiality goes.
