401k Set up - Not working (Known Issue - Resolved 12/23/25)

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: "401k Set up - Not working"

 

I want to be able to offer my employees a 401k option and have tried several times to set something up through square payroll > benefits > get stated/set-up, but I am always brought to a "404 we cannot find the page you are looking for".

 

I reached out to Guideline/Accrue to see what the issue is and they say they aren't taking on new accounts right now... I then tried reaching out to square to see why the only platform they offer for 401k plans is not accepting any new accounts,  and all the responses I am getting from Square support are clearly AI generated. It seems there is no urgency to solve the issue or even trying to understand what is happening on the users end.

 

So my question is has anyone recently established a 401k plan? Or is square not offering new 401k plans? Is anyone else experiencing this?
