Turn off the need for passcodes in Square for Retail?

Hello everybody,

I just switched from Square point of sale to Square for retail on my Square Register. In Square point of sale I had the option to disable the need for a passcode to be put in to use the register but in Square for Retail I can't seem to find any option to get rid of this passcode requirement. I can go to settings but in Square for Retail there is no security option for me to choose. Currently I am having to enter a passcode to start the day and anytime I open the cash drawer as well as when I try to back out of a transaction. Is there anyway to disable this?

You would have to go into your Square Dashboard on a computer, Account & Settings... then business security....

I have the slider for 2 step verification off and do not have to enter a pin everytime I open my cash drawer.

If this does not work you may have to look into,

Try from the dashboard going to device manangement >Profiles>Device Profiles>  Then on this screen select Square Checkout.

Then a pop out will apear on the right side, select the blue Manage ..... then you get another screen.... On the left side under settings select Security...  Slide the slider for passcodes to the left so it is grey in color.
