Bug in Square Retail Search - Skip Details Setting Not Respected
I’ve been experiencing issues with staff making errors when using search on Square POS. Yesterday, I exported my catalog and ensured that all items had the Skip Details setting set to false. However, today I logged into the POS and searched for an item, and it still auto-adds the variation, completely disregarding the setting in the item details.
This issue occurs when using Square POS with a retail profile. If you use the search function, it auto-adds the item variation. In contrast, using the category navigation correctly respects the setting.
I will provide video evidence as needed, but this issue needs to be addressed.
