Hey! Here’s a quick way to remove categories from your website in Square:

  1. Log into your Square Dashboard.
  2. Head to "Items & Orders" and click on "Items."
  3. Pick the item you want to edit.
  4. Scroll down to the "Categorization" section and find the "Channels" options.
  5. Uncheck any boxes for things like "Age Group" or "Brand" that you don’t want showing up on your site.
  6. Hit "Save."

A couple of things to note:

  • Individual Edits: This lets you tweak which "Channels" categories show for each product.
  • Bulk Editing: If you want to make changes to a bunch of items at once, you can use the bulk edit feature on your Square dashboard.

THEY DON'T SHOW UP ON MY SITE! THEY ARE DEAFULT BUILT INTO THE CREATE ITEM PAGE. THEY DIDN'T USED TO BE THERE.

@MargaritaMixte Welcome to the community. There is no way to remove them on the backend, they are there for SEO and Google. If you use Google search you need to fill out the Age group, color, gender, condition, you will rank higher in Google by doing this.

I removed the sales channel to google and these form fields still show up. (Age group, color, gender, condition,)

How would I completely disconnect from google- what should I do to start?
