PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT LOGIN FEATURE IS NEEDED!

I am an accountant that has encourage all of our Payroll Clients to TRANSFER away from other payroll providers like Paychex, Gusto and ADP and start using SQUARE PAYROLL.  Having done this is now shooting ourselves in the foot!  WHY?  Because ALL of those other payroll platforms have an ACCOUNTANT LOGIN OPTION so can log in and run needed payroll and print payroll reports on their behalf!  WHY ARE YOU THE ONLY PAYROLL PLATFORM THAT DOES NOT HAVE THIS OPTION?  This IS NEEDED!

Accountant LOGIN FEATURE is NEEDED in Square!

I’ve gone ahead and changed the status of this feature request to “Open.” You provided a great assessment on the potential business use/need for something like this on our platform from a seller’s perspective. This is a useful tool for our Product Team to use as they build the future of our products. As more information becomes available, a Community moderator will come in and change the status letting all of the subscribed sellers know.

Yes, I shouldnt have to give my login and password to my whole system to my accountant. THEY EASILY DO SOMETHING IF THINGS EVER WENT LEFT. So def needs to be added ASAP!

I have already pulled our payroll clients OFF Square Payroll moved them all back to Gusto Payroll because this feature is NOT available yet.  I have one more client to move after year-end this season!  Between this and NOT having multiple state unemployment capabilities.... time to leave Square payroll as much as I hate to because Square payroll is the EASIEST to use and best reporting features.  I'm in shock that such a large company does not have such common features that every other payroll provider has available already!  I hope you catch up with your competition soon!

Any progress with this issue? I finally hired a bookkeeper to help me and can't give her access to Square payroll.  Me having to run the report every payroll and send it to her keeps me having to spend time doing tasks that I specifically hired the bookkeeper to take off my plate.  The lack of accountant access has been an issue for people and brought up in the Square community for 6 years.  I am looking in to Gusto now, thanks @apex1040 for the referral :-).

I would like to see this option added too.  It is extremely scary to hand over my business owner login to my bookkeeper to run necessary reports.

@RobynR has there been any changes or updates on this? I'm shocked that the Accountant access isn't a standard feature with Square Payroll. It seems baffling to me that I would have to give full access to an accountant so they can handle payroll reports for book keeping and taxes.
