Register Software Update ISSUES
There must have been a software update and now our square register prints all names in reverse order and in ALL CAPS. ( LAST NAME/FIRST NAME ) not only that but the update has also created a confusing interface for customers when it's time to insert their credit card! Is there anyway to revert back to the previous software before the update? this is really affecting our Square Register not so much the iPad POS systems

I am sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing with the recent software update. The changes you’ve described, including the reversed name order and the confusing credit card interface, are not ideal.
Unfortunately, reverting to a previous software version is not typically supported. To better assist, can you upload a photo of what you are seeing on your end?

just fix the reverse order and the confusing interface that i mentioned. that's it. those are really really annoying and i don't understand why problem was trying to be solved by changing those things?

YES this update was terrible! Instead of saying "John Smith" like normal, it will say "SMITHJOHN". It also changed the keyboard design for the way you input names at the end of the transaction, the continue button after typing the name isn't super visible so my staff kept accidentally hitting the visible "skip" button and it also makes the names all lowercase.
Why "fix" something that isn't broken?
