Does anyone have a problem with App showing service is paid with no transaction Record

Is anyone experiencing APP showing client paid, yet there is no transaction record?  We invoiced client at time of service. We then took payment on APP from card on file. The Invoice shows as not paid, and there is no transaction. Yet, on the appointments app, the service shows as paid. 

 

When I entered the MARK AS PAID on Square, which does not creat a transaction, the APP now shows the service was paid twice, yet SQUARE shows only the one manual payment. 

 

I now have to go to the client, who has a weekly service with us, and ask if the payments have been taken from her card. 

 

This is so unprofessional and embarrassing. 

 

Meanwhile we are not collecting the $$ for the services rendered.

Thank you for reaching out to us about this. We have not seen other reports of this at this time, but we want to investigate closer. How long has this been occurring for you? Are you able to provide more detail about the device you are processing on?

Good Morning,

 

Sorry for the delay in replying. I do not know how long this has been happening. 

 

We invoiced a client. I used the app on my Samsung to take payment from card on file.  So it shows as paid on the app. Yet it shows as outstanding from my laptop PC version of square. 

 

To rectify, I used the mark as paid which updated the PC version of square with no transaction. Which I expected, however the Square appointment app Doubled the amount paid on the app. It seems that the payment was taken twice from her card. 

 

Meanwhile the original transaction of payment is not on Square PC version.
