On the bottom of the Square App, it lists "Notifications" "More" "Transactions". I want "Reports" to be there too. How do I add it?
Hey @SummerRec. On your POS app, go to More. You’ll see a screen like the one below, depending on your POS (standard, Retail, Restaurants). Click the Customize button. From there you can add/remove modules as you wish.

not going to lie, I just used this advice to do the same and add reports. kinda sucks you can't remove notifications.
I removed notifications on my Restaurant POS. Which one are you using?
This was on Square terminal. I didn't check on Square POS on iPad yet.
It is locked on Square POS on iPad too. though there you have 2 that you can customize vs the one on Square terminal.
Bob, well color me surprised! I was just sure you were missing something, but of course you weren’t! LOL. So, this sounds like a bug to me. I mean all POS apps should do things like this consistently, shouldn’t they? “Customize” for the standard, Restaurants and Retail POS should be consistent, eh? Wouldn’t you agree, @_Violet @MayaP @RobynR
Hi @TheRealChipA - I'm happy to ask around and see if we can get more context on this.
Firstly, I'll need to confirm your setup, @VanKalkerFarms. So, you're not seeing the option to customize your in-app menu on the Terminal only or on the Square Stand as well? Are you using the standard Point of Sale, or do you happen to use Square for Retail or Restaurants?
I'll keep an eye out for your reply.
the option is there. it is just super limited due to notifications staying even though I personally never use it. On terminal and Square POS for iPhone the only bottom row icon that you can remove is Transactions (checkout, notifications, menu have to stay).. and in Square POS on iPad you can remove transactions and one other. Checkout, blank, blank, notifications, menu have to stay)
Got it. Thanks for providing these screenshots, @VanKalkerFarms! This certainly helps me see and understand what you're seeing 🙂
I believe it's likely intentional that the notifications tab cannot be hidden/removed like the other sections to maintain visibility on any important notifications we may send you. If you would like to be able to hide the notifications tab, you're welcome to submit a feature request!
@_Violet As you know, I’m a stickler for consistency. So FYI the Restaurants app already allows for Notifications to be removed. So it follows that in order to be consistent, all POS apps should do the same. Just saying….!
follow removed by me. There’s too much risk of someone taking offense, which was not intended. Ha.
Hi @TheRealChipA - Thanks for chiming in to let me know that. Appreciate you being my eyes there.
I would agree, if we're able to do it on the Restaurants app, I don't see why not for the other applications as well. This could be an iPad vs Register/Terminal thing. I'd say it's a pretty valid feature request, in that case 🙂
