Profit and loss Statement

Does the square system provide a profit and loss statement or do you have to generate one?

Square does not, as it doesn't know all of your business expenses.  An accounting app like QuickBooks or Zero would be good for this.  There are also apps in the Square app center for connecting to different accounting packages for sales and inventory data
