Text Alerts Failing to Send to Customers from KDS

When I mark an order as complete on the Android KDS it does not text the customer that their order is complete. I’m not sure if this is for all online orders or only those using Apple / Google Play

 

I’ve been using the Square Kiosk and it works fine and text when their order is complete. This is a hassle because people who has Online Orders never know when their order is ready

Are your Text Alerts enabled? 

 

You can enable them by going to your Square Online Overview page > Communications > Email & Text Alerts. 

 

There will be a toggle that you can turn on for order status text messages to be sent to your customers.

Oh! Odd that it was disabled!! I just enabled it hopefully our online order customers should now receive text messages when their order is ready. Thank you! I’ll keep you updated tomorrow!
