My product photos are suddenly not loading on my online shop.

Went to update my online shop last night and saw that several photos would not load. I corrected them by uploading the photos again. Now this morning others aren’t loading - seems to be random. Anyone else seeing this? Any advice?

Check to see if the photos that aren't loading are products w/ multiple variations and images. Square added the ability to have variation photos in items- but the that cause disruption (I believe) on the online side. I've had to go in and re-add variation photos that were there but were erased when variation photos were added to items.

After contacting Tech Support, seems as of today, my photos are back -- another mystery resolved (maybe) 😊

Hey there Housespecial,

 

I'm thinking there is an issue with photos going on - I did not make any changes nor upload anything, yet some of the photos for one of my items are not loading - all you see is a grey box that flashes for the first photo.  I have 6 photos total - 4 load OK, one flashes grey and there's nothing for the other one.  See example below:

Do me a favor- go into items- add the photos there- and then see if they show up online (doing an experiment here).
