I am unable to transfer my domain from Square to Squarespace

When I go to transfer my domain I come up with a menu that says my site is disconnected, but it's up and running. I assume because it's disconnected I can't access the transfer code. Has anyone had this issue?

Sometimes you run into glitches which only Tech Support (hopefully) can help you out.  You may have already see some of the details here as it offers a couple of tips.  And the info also suggests contacting Tech Support for additional assistance.  The Community is great for helping in some areas however, it can't resolve certain technical type issues and/or account concerns.
