How to set up subscriptions without the customer cancelling the membership from the receipt.

Hi everyone!

 

We are gym owners. 

 

With automatic subscriptions, the clients can cancel their gym memberhip by hitting the link on the e-receipt.

 

We have a 4 week cancellation policy - so this is not compatible with our business. 

 

What should we do please? 

 

How do we stop members cancelling their own memberships (subscriptions)?

I reached out to the Square Subscriptions Product Team and they let me know that, "We don't have configuration to allow Square Sellers to disable the customer's ability to cancel a subscription, though more control over cancellation policy (for example, not able to cancel for x amount of time) is being investigated by our product team".

Hello,

 

Was this ever made an option? I need to not have my customers cancel the subscriptions on their own, we require a two week notice. Please let me know.
