Featured items doesn’t load

I have been trying to add a section of Custom featured items to one of my pages, however it doesn't seem to be adding them. They are in my item library, visible and active in my shop, yet they don't seem to want to load in featured section. I know the section is working because if I select "most popular" that loads or if I select any other items loads ok.

Any suggestions?

Are you using the add a section and then editing that section? I have added featured Items and categories to jtpets.ca - also be sure to click publish?
