How do I edit the text message my customers receive after opting in to SMS marketing?

Does anyone know how to edit the text message customers receive after texting 'YES' to opt in?

Welcome to the Seller Community and thanks for writing in with this question. 

 

You can edit your Marketing campaigns by following these steps:
 

1. Go to Customers > Marketing in your online Square Dashboard.

2. Click Create Campaign and next Text Message.

3. Choose an objective for your campaign.

4. This is where you can edit your message and set the details of the coupon for your campaign. 

5. Review the detail and select Send Now for a blast campaign, or Schedule to send the text later. For an automated campaign, click Activate Now.

Hi Arie,

 

I sorted out how to do this yesterday and tested it out.  The only issue is that it isn't automated so this means I will need to check daily for new signups and then message them.  I can see this getting very labor intensive and messy.  Any suggestions?

I just need the coupon code to go out to them as soon as they opt in.  I must be missing something because this is a standard thing to want to do...

Can you send across a screenshot of how you've set up your sms campaign @evandno? Is it an automated campaign, or a blast campaign?

I'm not able to upload any images here.  Not sure why?  I'm pretty sure the one I sent was just a one-time.  When I click automations it just shows my draft e-mail.  Can you please just send directions on how to automatically have a customized text sent as soon as they text 'YES' to opt in?

Ok, thanks for getting back to me.  I'm so confused as to why this is not a given.  It makes no sense to have to check in daily for sign-ups and have to continuously send out the discount to small groups.  There has to be a better way.  We have enough on our plates and this just makes it harder.
