Interesting as many of us really don't want this option to be available unless we have the option to either turn it on or off, seems Square simply does not listen. Anyway, the option is available at Checkout. Now if you are creating discounts from your Square Item Library, I believe that this action won't sync them to Square Online. This FAQ may offer some info as to how to make what you have in mind. Bottom line, many of us are still waiting for the option to either turn on or off this option as it does cause a bit of confusion with our customers.
